Group NMIXX member Seol-yoon today (25) released a duet with Park Jae-jung titled "Just As I Am Now."
The new song "Just As I Am Now," which drew attention as a special collaboration between Seol-yoon and Park Jae-jung, is a song in which the team of Park Jae-jung and Park Hyun-joong, who made Park Jae-jung's hit "Don't Say Let's Break Up," teamed up once again. It is expected to be a classic ballad that will strike early spring feelings in 2026.
The lyrics that say "I even want the pain of this breakup I'm feeling now to, in fact, remain sometimes, not forgotten for a very long time" are conveyed with aching emotion, explosive vocal power and lavish orchestral sound, and are expected to show the essence of a classic male-female duet.
Seol-yoon has appeared in various content and demonstrated her distinctive solid vocal power and tone, proving her limitless capability as a solo vocalist. In particular, in 2023 on KBS K-pop "Limousine Service," she succeeded in singing Park Jae-jung's "Don't Say Let's Break Up" five keys higher than the original, capturing the hearts of viewers as well as the original artist Park Jae-jung.
In this duet arranged as a result of that, Seol-yoon and Park Jae-jung deliver a fantastic vocal synergy that will satisfy listeners. Ahead of the official release of the track, on the 22nd they appeared on the popular YouTube channel "JAYKEEOUT" to perform "Just As I Am Now" live, and on the 23rd they opened part of a live clip filmed at a grand theater. In addition, on the 24th at 6 p.m. they pre-released the main music video for the new song, bringing the mood to a peak.
