[OSEN] Broadcaster Ahn Sun-young recently shared specific precautions about the increasingly stringent U.S. entry inspections and preparations for staying in the country.
On the afternoon of the 25th, a video titled "Travel essentials you must pack | Prepare everything with this one video!!" was posted on the YouTube channel "This is Ahn Sun-young."
Ahn Sun-young warned those preparing to go to the United States, saying, "Since it changed to President Trump, airport searches have become quite strict," and especially advised on clothing: "When you dress, wear comfortable clothes if possible, and if you dress too flashy or wear designer brands, there are some cases where customs will single you out."
Ahn Sun-young also mentioned criminal records and credit management, explaining, "One of the rumors is that these days the U.S. even requires a criminal record certificate. You have to obtain a document from the police stating that you have never committed a crime while living in Korea, and you must also get that document notarized in English."
Ahn Sun-young revealed a thorough document preparation process, saying, "I took that file this thick with me." She added, "If you fall into arrears on card payments, it becomes a big problem. If you move, emigrate, or have to stay for several years because your child is studying abroad, it becomes a major obstacle."
