Actor Lee Kyun returned to Korea with a shoulder injury after transforming into a businessman in Vietnam.
On the 25th, Lee Kyun posted on his personal social media saying, "acromioclavicular joint rupture surgery. I really can't believe it," and shared an update.
The released photo showed Lee Kyun lying on a hospital bed appearing to be resting after surgery. The back of Lee Kyun's hand, which seemed to be receiving an IV drip, and the X-ray image showing a fractured bone raised concern.
Regarding this, Lee Kyun explained, "I got into trouble alone while moving aside for a Chinese girl who was running around!" and said, "I endured from Feb. 9 and because the holiday overlap meant there were no doctors in Vietnam, I eventually had the surgery in Korea."
He especially said, "No matter how good they are, surgery in my country Korea makes me feel comfortable in my mind and body," and he told acquaintances who helped him, "you worked hard," and "the surgery in Korea went well."
Lee Kyun debuted in 1997 as a member of the group UP. Afterward he turned to acting and appeared in dramas including the sitcom "Annyeong Francesca," "Reach for the Stars," and "Fantastic Tower."
He stopped domestic broadcasting activities after the 2014 drama "The Three Musketeers." He is currently said to have reinvented himself as a coffee entrepreneur in Vietnam and achieved great success.
Riding on that, Lee Kyun appeared on last year's KBS 2TV entertainment program "Pursuing Old Encounters" to share an update through the broadcast.
