Kim Jaejoong's first produced boy group is formally throwing its hat into the music industry.
Incode Entertainment (hereinafter Incode) confirmed the debut of two boy groups in the first half of this year and signaled a new wave in the K-pop market.
Incode formalized the debut of the two boy groups at 12 a.m. on the 25th through its official social media channels. The 11 male trainees under Incode will be split into two teams and presented as a five-member group and a six-member group respectively.
The official team names and member lineups of the two boy groups were unveiled through a released video. The team names are KEYVITUP and VAY ONN. KEYVITUP consists of Taehwan, Hyunmin, Sena, Jaein and Rukira, while VAY ONN is made up of Masato, Sen, Sunjiayang, Feng Jinyu, Teru and Mano.
KEYVITUP is currently preparing for an April debut, and VAY ONN is targeting a June debut. Incode said the two teams have completely different concepts and musical directions and that it plans to maximize each team's identity and appeal to present them to global fans.
Earlier, the 11 trainees revealed through the debut project "INTHE X" in November last year have communicated with fans before debut through a December mini fan meeting, the "Fortune Tour" in January this year, and the fan meeting "Epilogue: End=Beginning" on Feb. 21. They have built recognition by targeting global fans' hearts with outstanding visuals and distinctive charm.
The industry and fans are focusing attention on the consecutive debut news of the two teams, which built solid fandoms even before debut.
