The group WJSN (WJSN) is giving fans a special gift to mark their 10th anniversary.
According to Starship Entertainment, WJSN will release the 10th anniversary special single Bloom hour today (25th) at 6 p.m. (KST) on various online music sites.
Bloom hour is a special single that captures the time WJSN has bloomed with WOOJUNG (the official fan club name) over the past 10 years, and the moments of confronting themselves in that process. Like the album title, which signifies the moment a flower shines most brilliantly just before fully blooming, it conveys the time WJSN and WOOJUNG have accumulated through numerous seasons and their gaze toward the future.
The title track "Bloom hour" sings about a relationship that has grown together by staying by each other's side rather than leading one another. Revisiting that WJSN's time began with fans, it delivers the message that the decade-long period is not a "past time" but the present in which they are shining most brilliantly.
Also included, "Mirror" contains the message that the "current me" who has passed through 10 years gives to their past self. It reflects on the times endured imagining the future and depicts the feelings of moving toward self-comfort and conviction.
In particular, leader EXY directly participated in writing lyrics for this single, adding meaning. As it summarizes the past 10 years in the most WJSN-like language, it is expected to be an even more special gift to WOOJUNG, and ahead of the release WJSN shared a Q&A about "Bloom hour."

Q1. How do you feel about presenting the special single "Bloom hour" for your 10th anniversary?
EXY: Many moments come to mind as the 10 years accumulated. This album is meant to celebrate, but I prepared it with the thought that I wanted to express gratitude to WOOJUNG, who has been with us.
Seola: It's hard to believe that time has passed like this, and I also feel proud that we've done well. Above all, I'm happy to be able to share WJSN's music with WOOJUNG after a long time, and I hope it becomes a special memory and gift as much as the time we've spent together.
Bona: I prepared this with the feeling of a gift for WOOJUNG for the 10th anniversary. I am so grateful to WOOJUNG for being with us for such a long time, and the happiest part is that we can celebrate the 10th anniversary with WOOJUNG. As the members and the company prepared with one heart, I hope this becomes a gift-like album for WOOJUNG.
Subin: While preparing this single and gathering with the members again, it felt still very much like WJSN, which I liked. I'm grateful to the members and WOOJUNG who have been with us for 10 years, and I hope "Bloom hour" becomes a new daily happiness.
Eunseo: It's already been 10 years; time really flies. As this is a WJSN song released after a while, we prepared hard. It contains WJSN's time built even more solidly, so please look forward to it and support us.
Yeoreum: I think everything WJSN achieved over the 10 years would have been impossible without WOOJUNG. As you waited, we too eagerly awaited and prepared the album with truly happy hearts, and I hope this feeling is well conveyed to WOOJUNG.
Dayoung: Even while doing solo activities, many moments with the members came to mind. I'm really happy we could come together to give this 10th anniversary single as a gift, and I hope WOOJUNG likes it.
Yeonjeong: It still doesn't fully feel real that it's our 10th anniversary. It's more meaningful to be able to leave those times as a record and greet WOOJUNG. We prepared truly WJSN-like songs, so please listen a lot and I hope you like them.
Q2. What meaning does the title track "Bloom hour" hold?
EXY: "Bloom hour" means the shining moment before a flower blooms most beautifully. All of WJSN's time and beginnings started from the light called "WOOJUNG," and I wanted to express the times we built by trusting and relying on each other and the times we will spend together in the future.
Seola: I think this song very well captures the relationship in which WJSN and WOOJUNG have guarded each other's side and grown together. There seems to be no better song to convey the grateful feelings and sincerity we feel now, so we present it as a fan song and a special single commemorating the 10th anniversary.
Q3. What was the most important factor while preparing this single?
Eunseo: The most important thing was to make sure our sincerity was well conveyed to the WOOJUNG who waited. Since it's a WJSN song we're presenting after a while, we tried to include our own color. Fortunately, both songs seem to have that feeling well, so I hope WOOJUNG likes them a lot.
Yeoreum: It's a fan song we eagerly wanted to share as much as WOOJUNG wanted to hear it quickly. Having experienced and grown wonderfully in our own places, we thought a lot about showing the most brilliantly shining 모습 when we reunite, just like the meaning of the title.
Yeonjeong: The part I focused on most while working with the members was "capturing WJSN as we are." Rather than dressing it up glamorously because it's the 10th anniversary, I thought being honest and showing ourselves as we are now would convey sincerity better, so I concentrated on that while working.
Q4. As this is a fan song, it must have special meaning. Are there any memorable episodes from the work?
Bona: Because we filmed and worked together after a long time, I often thought throughout the schedule, "Ah, this is the kind of team we were." They're always lively, and even over small things everyone keeps laughing, so I really thought we're still "ourselves."
Subin: Being with the members after a long time brought back old memories. The day we filmed the music video was especially cold, and while we were huddled around a heater my hair tip got slightly singed. Seeing everyone worry but then immediately laugh helped us finish filming together with more energy.
Dayoung: I remember the moment we gathered to record after a long time. Being all together in the studio made me feel unexpectedly moved. Also, during the music video shoot we would joke and laugh, but when the camera rolled we immediately became professional, and seeing that made me feel we fit well together and reminded me why we've stayed together so long.
Q5. Lastly, please say a word to WOOJUNG who have waited for WJSN.
EXY: WOOJUNG! Thank you truly for staying by our side in the same place for 10 years. Because of WOOJUNG, every moment of WJSN was possible, and such great songs could be made. I hope we can continue together on every path. WOOJUNG, WOOJUNG-hae!
Seola: To our WOOJUNG who have supported us with unwavering hearts, thank you so much. Just as WOOJUNG is an indispensable presence to me, I will strive to be someone who can have a positive influence on WOOJUNG. I hope we continue together as we are now. I'm always thankful and I love you.
