Group 2PM member and actor Ok Taecyeon is set to marry a non-celebrity partner in April, and their recently revealed newlywed home has become a topic of conversation.
Interior designer Park Ji-hyun posted several photos on her social media last December, saying, "I was happy to be entrusted with a wonderful person's home. It suddenly came out, and I had been holding back to post it, but it was featured in the December issue of #LivingSense."
Park Ji-hyun went on to explain, "He, who likes cooking, has a real cooking vibe: he goes grocery shopping every day, comes home from work and heads straight to the kitchen. Seeing his variety of sauces, even I, a housewife, was impressed. He said he liked a comfortable home, so we made a house with white, wood, metal and stone. I enjoyed placing the pieces he already owned and styling the space."
The space Park Ji-hyun revealed was Ok Taecyeon's home. The released photos captured every corner of Ok Taecyeon's home, including a neat kitchen with a large dining table, a bedroom featuring pristine white bedding, and a neat, sophisticated bathroom. The clean yet accented interior and the wide, tidy spaces caught the eye.
As designer Park Ji-hyun described, the well-organized kitchen and the living room decorated with a fireplace were also impressive. The spacious, tidy bedroom and the cozy-feeling living room also attracted attention.
The home of Ok Taecyeon, revealed through designer Park Ji-hyun, drew more interest as it was known to be the newlywed home. Ok Taecyeon earlier announced in November last year that he would marry his non-celebrity girlfriend, with whom he had been dating for 10 years. The two acknowledged their relationship in 2020 and have since continued a public relationship for more than five years.
At the time, his agency Fifty One K said, "Ok Taecyeon promised to spend their lives together with the person he has been seeing for a long time. The wedding will be held privately at a location in Seoul next spring, with only family from both sides, relatives and close acquaintances in attendance."
Ok Taecyeon also conveyed in a handwritten letter, "I promised to spend my life with the one person who has believed in me for a long time. We will be a reliable presence for each other and walk the rest of our lives together."
Ok Taecyeon's wedding is reported to be held on April 24 at a location in Seoul. However, the agency asked for understanding, saying, "Because the bride is a non-celebrity, we cannot share detailed schedules."
