ENA 'Honour' Lee Na-young once again stands before the camera. Ahead of tonight's (24th) main broadcast, the 'Honour' production team released a still of Lee Na-young during a live broadcast and previewed, "She will expose 'Connect-in' live," already raising viewers' pulse.
ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honour' (directed by Park Geon-ho, written by Park Ga-yeon, planned by KT Studio Jini, produced by How Pictures, hereafter 'Honour') as soon as the episode 8 teaser was released right after the previous broadcast, viewers responded explosively with comments such as, "finally what was coming has come," and "we desperately want a blow to Connect-in."
Yoon Ra-young (Lee Na-young) was caught in a trap set by Park Je-yeol (Seo Hyun-woo), and the chilling final scene of her confronting him alone in deep darkness froze living rooms. In addition, viewers' outrage reached a peak after a shocking scene was captured in which another sexual exploitation victim whom Park Je-yeol lured to 'Connect-in' with a deferred prosecution was found unconscious in a hotel room. As Park Je-yeol's merciless violence toward his wife Hong Yeon-hee (Baek Eun-hye) was revealed, calls for punishment against him and the secret sex-trade app 'Connect-in' intensified.
In episode 8 airing today (24th), the standoff between Yoon Ra-young and Park Je-yeol pushed to the brink intensifies. In the teaser, Park Je-yeol delivers a sneering, blatant warning to Yoon Ra-young, "I've given you enough chances. Let's see you break," but Yoon Ra-young does not collapse. Once again in front of the live broadcast camera, she calmly but firmly exposes live, "There is a secret sex-trade app. And a sitting prosecutor is involved in it." This bombshell will be broadcast live and is expected to shake Korea. Those watching, Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-Chae) and Hwang Hyun-jin (Lee Chung-ah), are also enveloped in shock. It suggests the ripple effects of this exposure will by no means be small.
The eruption from Park Je-yeol, who always maintained a poker face, also draws attention. Scenes of him unleashing uncontrollable rage in his office and roaring, and of him looking bewildered and unable to hide his embarrassment as he is blocked by a barrage of reporters' questions, already promise an exciting catharsis. All eyes are on whether Yoon Ra-young's determined exposé can bring down the solid cartel of Park Je-yeol and 'Connect-in.'
