'EXchange / Transit Love4' reunion couple Park Ji-hyun·Jung Won-gyu gave an honest response to the marriage rumors.
In a video released on the 24th on the YouTube channel "Insaeng84," the two appeared together and opened up about their thoughts on dating and marriage.
Regarding the recently surfaced marriage rumors that day, Park Ji-hyun said, "After the show ended, I thought I should get married quickly, but now we've talked about doing the things we each can do a little more and making sure we do it not too late," she prefaced. She then said of her boyfriend, Won-gyu, "He's five years older than me and said he would wait," indicating they are matching each other's pace.
Jung Won-gyu also said, "From the first reunion meeting, it was a relationship with marriage in mind," but added, "Rather than rushing unconditionally, we are discussing the practical aspects together." The two revealed that past burdens about marriage and practical concerns led to their breakup, and added that they are now continuing their relationship while thoroughly talking through those issues.
They also candidly mentioned the emotions at the time of their past breakup. Park Ji-hyun recalled the difficult time, saying, "When I was unilaterally notified of the breakup, I thought all the problems were my fault and cried almost nonstop for two weeks." Jung Won-gyu bowed his head, saying, "At the time, I lacked understanding of the work Ji-hyun was doing. Ultimately, it was my fault." They shared the behind-the-scenes that through the program they came to understand each other better and were able to meet again.
Preparing their future at each other's pace, the two conveyed a shared thought, "We want to get married without being late," and their current balance between individual lives and their relationship has warmed hearts.<
