The groups ChoCo1 and ChoCo2 mentioned the mixed-gender group senior ALLDAY PROJECT and expressed their respect.
On the 24th afternoon at the Shocking K-pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, a release commemorative showcase for ChoPd's first family project "ChoCo La Familia" took place.
ChoCo members Ye-chan, Tae-jo, An-pan and Yoon-ji are releasing "ChoCo La Familia," announcing the start of a new journey. ChoCo1 Ye-chan and Tae-jo and ChoCo2 An-pan and Yoon-ji joined to raise expectations; this album, produced by ChoPd, is Choco Entertainment's first family album and signals a full-scale leap toward the global market.
ChoCo1 is a male unit consisting of Ye-chan and Tae-jo. They are a creator duo who have produced music and choreography themselves since childhood, and they proved their capabilities as artists by gaining practical stage experience through appearing on the popular audition program "Boys Planet 2."
ChoCo2 is also a female unit consisting of An-pan and Yoon-ji. An-pan, a "born-to-be idol," and Yoon-ji, an all-rounder who combines an innocent image with powerful abilities, are expected to create a striking contrast on stage and produce fresh synergy. With high-teen sensibility-based energy and stable vocals and performance, they are expected to present a new balance and direction that current K-pop requires.
Because this project is being carried out as a mixed group, it was natural to be reminded of ALLDAY PROJECT, which debuted last year. On this, Ye-chan said, "The family album has been planned for a long time. In our case, we respect the seniors ALLDAY PROJECT. There is so much to learn from them, and they are really cool seniors."
He went on to describe the strengths unique to ChoCo1 and ChoCo2, saying, "Our strengths are that we are young and that we participate in writing lyrics and composing."
Meanwhile, ChoPd's first family project "ChoCo La Familia" will be released today (the 24th) at 6 p.m.
