On the 24th, Sean wrote on his social media, "Blackpink Jennie donated 100 million won—combining the revenue from the photo exhibition 'J2NNI5' she held in January and her own private funds—to the Briquette Bank through the 'raising Korea's temperature by 1 degree' campaign I run, asking that it be used for elderly people who need briquettes," he said.
He added, "With 100 million won you can buy 112,000 briquettes, and 560 households can heat with briquettes for one cold month. For some people, briquettes are not optional but an essential item for surviving winter."
Sean added, "Thank you, Jennie, for making Korea a little warmer!"
On the donation certificate Sean released, the sponsor name was listed as Kim Jennie.
Earlier, Jennie held a two-week photo exhibition last month in Jongno District, Seoul, titled 'JENNIE PHOTO EXHIBITION 'J2NNI5''. This exhibition presented Jennie's most authentic fragments found in unintended moments, and unreleased photos of 25-year-old Jennie taken by prominent domestic photographers Hong Jang-hyun, Shin Sun-hye and Mok Jeong-wook were revealed.
Meanwhile, Blackpink, of which Jennie is a member, will release their third mini album, 'DEADLINE', at 2 p.m. on the 27th (Korean time).
