The core members of ChoCo Entertainment have come together for a family album.
On the afternoon of the 24th, at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, a showcase was held to commemorate the release of Jo Pd's first family project, "ChoCo La Familia."
ChoCo members Yechan, Taejo, Anpan and Yoonji announce the start of a new journey with the release of "ChoCo La Familia." ChoCo1 Yechan and Taejo and ChoCo2 Anpan and Yoonji joined to raise expectations; this album, produced by Jo Pd, is ChoCo Entertainment's first family album and signals a full-scale leap toward the global market.
ChoCo1 is a male unit composed of Yechan and Taejo. They are a creator duo who have produced their own music and choreography since childhood, proving their capabilities as artists by gaining practical stage experience through appearances on the popular audition program "Boys Planet 2."
ChoCo2 is also a female unit composed of Anpan and Yoonji. 'Born-to-be idol' Anpan and all-rounder Yoonji, who has powerful abilities beneath an innocent image, will create a striking contrast on stage and generate fresh synergy. With high-teen sensibility–based energy, stable vocals and performance, they are expected to present a new balance and direction that K-pop currently demands.
On the day, Yechan greeted the audience, "I'm Yechan of Born-to-hip-hop, ChoCo1 Yechan. I will work hard as I have prepared for a long time," and Taejo expressed his determination, "There are still many shortcomings, but I will become Kim Taejo who keeps growing."
Anpan said, "I'm Anpan, the human energy bar, Energizer Anpan. I'm really nervous about the showcase, but please look forward to our first family album. Thank you," and Yoonji conveyed, "Hello. I'm Yoonji, Choco vocal. I will do my best to show you a good side."
The members who directly participated in the song production for this album did not hide their emotions and thoughts and revealed themselves 100%. Each track contains answers to the question, "What kind of existence am I now?"
About the album, Yechan said, "There are units within ChoCo Entertainment. Among the male and female trainees, the core members are called ChoCo1 and ChoCo2," saying it is a joint project bringing the two units together.
Unlike the male members who participated in last year's "Boys Planet 2," Yoonji is meeting reporters and fans for the first time. Yoonji added, "After you enjoy the two intense title tracks, I would appreciate it if you listen to my solo song."
Meanwhile, Jo Pd's first family project, "ChoCo La Familia," will be released today (the 24th) at 6 p.m.
