Earlier, one outlet reported that Chanceler was arrested on the spot by the metropolitan police on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act in a hotel room in central Nagoya, Japan, at dawn that day, along with three acquaintances.
Chanceler is a figure who has worked as a singer and produced albums for Yuju and Kang Daniel. He was the first Korean singer selected as a vocalist for the Grammy ReImagined series in the United States.
In particular, news had circulated that Simon, a former member of the boy group Dalmatian and the producer of the Japanese girl group XG, was urgently arrested in Japan on suspicion of drug possession, and it was reported that one of the people arrested at the scene was Chanceler.
