Kim Hee-jeong appeared on KBS 1TV's 'Morning Yard,' broadcast the morning of the 24th, revealing a life like a drama and her passion for new work.
That day Kim Hee-jeong appeared with fellow actor Park Jin Hee as a lead in KBS 2TV's new daily drama 'Red Pearl,' showing a jewel-like wit that captured viewers' attention. In this broadcast Kim Hee-jeong said, "I worried that I looked too gentle, so I decided to add a mole to look more spiteful," predicting a shocking acting transformation in the new daily drama 'Red Pearl.'
Kim Hee-jeong revealed a contrasting past that differs from her current slim appearance. Kim Hee-jeong, who confessed that she could not dream of becoming an actor because she was fat during her school days, said she studied and prepared for theater to become an actor and entered university majoring in directing.
She continued that although she did theater in university, she kept being cast only in aunt roles, so she dieted thinking she should try wearing a dress at least once, and she has shown thorough self-management by maintaining that look to this day.
She also confessed that she even considered starting a restaurant to prepare for the anxiety of her unknown years, leaving a deep impression on viewers. Although she was selected through SBS's open recruitment, Kim Hee-jeong said she had to remain in bit parts for more than 10 years and worry about the future, and that through that desperation she did not let go of acting and worked diligently to reach her current position.
