Fujii Mina recently appeared as the cover star for fashion magazine NYLON JAPAN's global project "365 anniversary."
NYLON JAPAN's "365 ANNIVERSARY" is NYLON JAPAN's signature project that proposes fashion and makeup inspired by real commemorative days. Fujii Mina captured attention with fashion pictorials commemorating Red Clothing Day on the 6th, Opera Day on the 8th, Agar Day on the 16th, Airmail Day on the 18th and Tartar Sauce Day on the 20th.
In particular, Fujii Mina digested the sweet yet slightly bitter charm of the cocktail with her distinct clear, deep mood and a bold "unbalanced mix-and-match look" in the pictorial commemorating Margarita Day, released on the 22nd.
Wearing a yellow-green ruffle bustier that evokes a fresh lime wedge layered over a dark gray oversized sweatshirt, Fujii Mina expressed both the lively character of a margarita and the weight of its tequila base. She radiated chic allure with a heavy black crocodile-pattern leather wrap skirt, and matched pastel blue knee socks and silver chain pointed-toe shoes to translate the margarita's witty twist into her outfit.
In this shoot, Fujii Mina created a dreamy mood as if savoring a strong margarita, then at the sound of the shutter she crossed her arms and flipped to a cold, aloof gaze, exuding a sharp aura. Regarding this, Fujii Mina said, "It had been a little while since I shot a fashion pictorial. It was really meaningful to meet seven versions of myself in such a good atmosphere on set. Especially because I had hardly ever shot wearing colored contacts, it felt very fresh to meet a new me."
