Singer Heo Gak's reinterpreted "Crazy Love Song" is unveiled.
Heo Gak will release the single "Crazy Love Song" on the 24th at 6 p.m. on various music streaming sites. Because the original song, released in 2006 by SeeYa, has long been loved as a representative breakup ballad of the 2000s, interest in this remake is growing.
This song is characterized by preserving the original's plaintive sentiment while reconfiguring the emotion from a male vocal perspective. Heo Gak's distinctive pleading tone and deep timbre are added to give the familiar melody a new texture.
On the 23rd, a recording studio teaser video for "Crazy Love Song" was released on the TOON STUDIO YouTube channel, and Heo Gak's dense vocals left a deep impression. With delicate emotional lines that raised immersion in the song, he completed the emotional climax with explosive singing toward the latter part, increasing anticipation for the full track.
In particular, this remake gains significance from the buzz that started with a live video. Last year Heo Gak performed a live version of "Crazy Love Song" on Nam Gyu-ri's YouTube channel and received a strong reaction, and requests for an official audio release followed, leading to the remake.
Like the confession of a person who cannot let go of love and ultimately pours out their heart, Heo Gak's "Crazy Love Song" is expected to leave a deep aftertaste as it moves between restraint and explosion.
Meanwhile, Heo Gak is currently appearing on MBC's "1deungdeul" and will hold the "Special concert" with Lim Han-byeol at Lotte Concert Hall in Songpa District, Seoul, on Mar. 21.
