BTS will start accepting general free ticket reservations for offline viewing of 'BTS comeback live: ARIRANG' (BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE｜ARIRANG) through the online ticketing site NOL Ticket today (23rd) at 8 p.m.
Ticket reservations for this performance will be conducted in the form of general free tickets that anyone can participate in without any separate conditions. As it is the first comeback stage with all seven members standing together after a long hiatus, the moment ticket reservations begin it is expected that a large number of users will flood the site, resulting in the so-called "picketing (bloody ticketing)."
Offline viewing seats will be operated as standing and assigned seats, and a large LED screen will be installed for viewers who cannot enter the venue. A lottery event for Weverse global pre-order purchasers will also be held simultaneously, and fans' enthusiasm is hotter than ever.
'BTS comeback live: ARIRANG' will take place around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul at 8 p.m. on March 21. This performance will be exclusively broadcast live to about 190 countries and regions through collaboration with Netflix, and BTS is the first single artist whose performance Netflix will broadcast live.
On the day of the performance, traffic around Gwanghwamun Square will be restricted for smooth operation and safety management, and depending on crowding at the site, nearby subway stations may be passed without stopping, so thorough preparations are required.
BTS will return to the music scene by releasing their fifth full-length album 'ARIRANG' at 1 p.m. on March 20, the day before the performance. Containing a total of 14 tracks, this album takes the title from 'Arirang,' Korea's representative folk song, and musically expresses the team's roots and the deep love and identity the members feel.
Along with this, the 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL' project, featuring experiential content and installation displays across Seoul, will be held from the album release date through April 12, and Seoul is expected to be dyed in BTS's purple throughout the city.
