Kwon Min-a, formerly of the group AOA, revealed facial burn scars that occurred after a dermatology procedure and criticized the hospital's response.
On the 23rd, Kwon Min-a posted on social media (SNS) a "photo from the day of the accident on the 24th (last month)," showing images of her face. In the photo, the skin from her cheek to her jaw and neck is reddened and peeled, with oozing and blisters.
Kwon said the hospital is not accepting responsibility. "Everyone says it wasn't them," she said, adding, "They say they are sorry, but they say they cannot acknowledge (negligence)."
She then noted that a month has passed since the accident, saying, "This is my first time experiencing something like this, so I lost my mind," and, "Do you think I can be in my right mind right now?" expressing the injustice she has felt since the accident.
Earlier, Kwon said that on the 24th (last month), while under sedation, she received 600 shots of Shurink lifting (high-intensity focused ultrasound) and was diagnosed with a deep partial-thickness second-degree burn.
