Kwon Mina, formerly of the group AOA, expressed her feelings after additionally releasing photos of burn damage that occurred following a Shurink procedure.
On the 24th Kwon Mina released one photo taken on the day of the incident along with progress photos from the 25th and 27th. The released photos plainly show burn marks and blister traces reddening her cheeks, jaw and neck, causing shock. As time passed some areas faded, but clear marks still remained, drawing attention.
In a lengthy post he revealed a desperate state of mind. Kwon Mina asked self-blaming questions, saying "If I had summoned just 1 gram more of courage, could I have succeeded?" He said, "Have I committed so many sins? If I am being punished I have thought I have been punished since I was a baby for 30 years, but on the day of release another charge was added, as if I could not be released from this wretched prison wheel — it turns out the punishment given to me is ... I am not the perpetrator? Then where exactly does the perpetrator exist? Everyone says it's not me; they say they are sorry but they cannot acknowledge it. They say they don't know," he said.
He continued, "This has never happened before so I lost my mind, *ping*," and wrote, "Only been a month? 楹?.. Everyone said at least a year.. The people who made me into a crazy X will ultimately live well, right? Trauma accumulates and no one will be able to understand me — in the midst of not knowing the situation or circumstances.. so the way you see me is a victim cosplay crazy woman.. right? Do you think I could be in my right mind now?.. All the good things were overturned.. I'm afraid of my phone," implying trauma and anxiety symptoms.
Earlier Kwon Mina revealed she suffered second-degree burns after receiving the skin-lifting procedure "Shurink," disclosing the damage and causing a stir. Since then she has continued to report ongoing mental suffering along with additional photos.
Meanwhile, Kwon Mina has recently shared updates on social media and continues to communicate with fans. With this additional release reigniting controversy, attention is focused on her future response and recovery process.
