Group SEVENTEEN 'Mevoz' Dokyeom X Seungkwan will hold solo concerts in five domestic and international cities.
On the 23rd, HYBE Music Group label PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said Dokyeom X Seungkwan will raise the curtain on DxS [Soyagok] ON STAGE in splendor at Incheon Inspire Arena from Apr. 17-19. The tour continues on the 29th-30th of the same month at Chiba Makuhari Messe, May 30-31 at Daegu EXCO, June 6 at Macau The Venetian Arena, and July 25 at Kaohsiung Arena.
The concert title was taken from Dokyeom X Seungkwan's mini first album 'Soyagok', released on Jan. 1. Like the album, which unfolds the theme of "ordinary love" through the two members' emotional storytelling, this tour is expected to let audiences experience music anyone can relate to through their perfect harmony.
When "Soyagok" was released, Dokyeom X Seungkwan appeared on not only music shows but also various live contents such as 'IsLive2' and 'Record Delivery', proving their impeccable vocal skills. Riding on their activities, the title track "Blue" rose to No. 1 on music charts at home and abroad and spawned numerous challenges, receiving an unusual response for a traditional ballad.
The record also received great love. "Soyagok" sold more than 520,000 copies on the day of release, achieving half-million seller status, which is rare for a unit album. It topped Japan's Oricon "Daily Album Ranking", China's QQ Music "Digital bestseller album" EP section daily and weekly charts, and entered the ranking of the U.S. Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200".
Dokyeom X Seungkwan are showing versatile talents not only as a unit but also in solo activities. Dokyeom's OST for the popular webtoon "Return of the Blossoming Blade", "I was never taught how to lose", will be released today (the 23rd) at 6 p.m. Seungkwan's web variety show "Bu Seungkwan's Bbibidibibidibu" is also sailing smoothly. He earns praise from viewers by creating pleasant chemistry with guests each episode through his distinctive witty talk.
