In the "case notebook" segment of Channel A's Detectives' Trade Secrets airing today (23rd) at 10 p.m., a woman's urgent request appears: "My son, who was divorced for an affair, seems to be having an affair again after remarrying." The client, a renowned couples counselor, said, "If it becomes known that my son was divorced because he cheated twice, who would come to me for counseling?" and confessed that she wanted to quietly resolve the situation by obtaining evidence of the affair before the daughter-in-law discovered it. Earlier, at the time of the son's first divorce, the client had paid a large amount of alimony to the former daughter-in-law and had even drawn up a confidentiality agreement to prevent rumors from spreading. The son remarried two years after the divorce to a woman who was a pharmacist and whose first marriage had ended. Watching this, Defconn quipped bitterly, "Some people never get to go even once... it's unfair," drawing laughter.
The detective team handling the case began tailing the client's son. On the surface, his routine seemed monotonous, going between the gym and a restaurant his mother had prepared, but soon suspicious behavior was spotted as he pretended to go to the gym and instead headed to a motel in the adjacent building. The investigation found that the client's son was carefully continuing his affairs, entering and leaving the motel with the mistress at staggered times and enjoying trysts in his car. But the real shock began when the mistress's identity was revealed. She went to the pharmacy run by the wife to buy birth control pills and even provocatively said, "Is there a rule that you must only do it with your husband?" which stunned everyone. Ultimately, despite the client's efforts, she could not stop her son's licentious private life, and the client's daughter-in-law declared her intention to divorce. Kim Poong then delivered a sharp remark: "That son needs to go to instructor Kang Hyung-wook." However, behind all these events a tremendous truth was hidden, and Defconn said, "That's really scary," unable to continue speaking.
Meanwhile, this broadcast increases its presence by featuring guest detective actress Jo Min-hee, a former KBS open recruitment actress who married plastic surgeon Kwon Jang-deok and raised exemplary children dubbed "perfect son" and "perfect daughter" as a "super working mom."
