The group IVE shared their feelings about returning with a full-length album.
IVE held a showcase on the afternoon of the 23rd at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their second full-length album REVIVE+ (Revive Plus) and talked about the new album.
IVE's second full-length album, Revive Plus, is closer to a rekindling than a mere reset or declaration of change. Having built a narrative of "self-assurance" centered on "me," IVE expands that perspective to "us" on this album, fully exploring stories about relationships and consolidation. By broadening the narrative into a structure in which IVE and the public meet and become "us," they clearly express confidence that they can move in many more directions from their current position.
IVE, who announced their comeback about six months after releasing mini album 4, IVE SECRET, in August last year, said, "It feels special that we are returning with a full-length album after almost three years."
Gaeul said, "We made a lot of effort to show an evolved IVE that grew without stopping at change. I'm happy that our pre-release song 'Bang Bang' seems to be receiving a lot of love, and riding that momentum I will work hard on activities for 'Black Hole' as well," expressing her aspirations.
Meanwhile, IVE will release their second full-length album REVIVE+ (Revive Plus) through various online music sites at 6 p.m. that day and begin comeback activities.
