'Amazing Saturday' comedian Lee Yongjin named Kim Donghyun as the only person he could not mock.
On the 21st episode of the tvN variety show Amazing Saturday (hereafter Amazing Saturday), YouTube 'Jorongjanchi' members Lee Yongjin, Shin Giru and Lee Jaeyul appeared. They are all former KBS open-recruit comedians, and their unique mocking style has gained great popularity on YouTube.
Lee Yongjin said, "This was my 11th appearance on Amazing Saturday. Until the 10th appearance there was no purpose. In a way, it's meaningful because it's the first time I've appeared together with my 'Jorongjanchi' colleagues whom I worked with," explaining that today's appearance was more meaningful than his previous ones.
Shin Giru showed off her distinctive fashion sense that day as well. She wore a deep pink jacket as if early spring had suddenly arrived. Known as the comedy world's unique catlike beauty and even compared to Jang Wonyoung, Shin Giru greeted the audience with refreshing, cute aegyo. Boom introduced her saying, "She's the comedy world's Jang Wonyoung, Shin Giru," but Lee Jaeyul quipped, "She would be the comedy world's Jang Hoon," drawing laughter.
On her third appearance, Shin Giru had concerns. Shin Giru said, "I appeared twice before, and this place is very difficult because of the temperature. The indoor temperature on set is somewhat high. But Taeyeon said, 'Doesn't it feel a bit chilly here?,' so it seems there is a temperature difference. They tried to point the air conditioner toward us as much as possible, but they don't turn it on," she said. That day Shin Giru cooled off from the heat with a refreshing dumpling hot pot instead of the air conditioner.
Lee Yongjin showcased various talents such as comedy and singing. He then revealed which members he would and would not want to appear on his 'Jorongjanchi' channel.
Boom asked, "You said there are people you want to invite to Jorongjanchi and people you don't want to invite," prompting Lee Yongjin to say, "I've been asking Moon Seyoon to appear on 'Jorongjanchi,' but he won't come out," bluntly revealing it. Moon Seyoon said, "My schedule just didn't match," but Lee Yongjin remarked, "People in the same comedy field using scheduling as an excuse is really..." expressing frustration. Moon Seyoon showed reluctance, saying, "Someone who would be eaten up should go for it to be funny," but Lee Jaeyul encouraged the senior's appearance, saying, "On the contrary, if you come out in parts you can mock him," refusing to back down.
On the other hand, the member he did not want to have appear was Kim Donghyun. As usual, members thought 'Nolbu' Kim Donghyun's character, who is not good at games, was weak in entertainment sense, but Lee Yongjin revealed an unexpected fact to those members. Lee Yongjin said, "You know. Donghyun's son Dan-woo and my son are best friends. They're in the same class. It's not for broadcasting; we've met for years as fellow parents," and added, "It upsets me that Kim Donghyun wears a wig. That also makes me feel bad," expressing his distress.
Then Kim Donghyun said, "We went to kids' cafes and camping together," and added, "Me too! It's kind of strange," expressing strong agreement with Lee Yongjin's words.
