Singer Seo Joo-kyung revealed the method of revenue sharing with her junior, Kang Moon-kyung.
On the 21st broadcast of 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi', the topic 'The person closest to you is the scariest' was discussed. That day Seo Joo-kyung and Kang Moon-kyung appeared together.
On that broadcast Seo Joo-kyung said, "It took Kang Moon-kyung 10 years to find the color of her voice. But people think she was good at singing from the start," she said. She added, "I hear a lot that she should go to a bigger company to do commercials and attend many events. I also hear questions about why she isn't sent out," she revealed.
On management direction Seo Joo-kyung explained, "When a booking call comes in for Kang Moon-kyung, answering 'Sure' takes one second. If you do that, a lot of money comes in. But I say, 'That's difficult. Please contact us again later.' I think that's management."
Kim Jang Hoon agreed, "If you show too much, you might not last long," and Kim Jong Seo added, "It becomes work instead of making music." Kim Jang Hoon shared his experience, "If you do many events your income increases but your throat can suffer. Your vocalization can collapse."
Seo Joo-kyung said, "I want Kang Moon-kyung to sing pleasantly within the budget on stages that suit her coolly," and added, "I am happy now. Kang Moon-kyung feels the same." She went on to say, "When appearance fees come in for revenue sharing, I give priority to Kang Moon-kyung."
Kang Moon-kyung also said, "All income goes to the company, but about four out of 10 times they let me receive it directly into my account. It means they want me to learn money management," and added, "They also make sure recording new songs isn't rushed. If they don't like it they tell me, 'Let's try again.'"
The two explained that they chose long-term growth over excessive activity and showed trust in each other.<
