'Salimnam 2' Lee Yo-won's third son was shown for the first time on the broadcast.
On the 21st episode of KBS2TV entertainment show 'Salimnam 2', Park Seo-jin family's Lunar New Year gathering and Takuya's life in Seoul were revealed.
Takuya entered a period of frugality after returning from Japan. Takuya said, "I had more expenditure than I expected while going to Japan. So I'm trying to save on living expenses. I plan not to turn on the boiler during this winter," showing a resolute attitude. He, with bedhead hair, wearing a long padded coat and sleep pants, heated himself without heating by boiling water and exercising.
Ji Sang-ryul said, "But he looks so handsome that even appearing like that he doesn't give off a sense of hardship," and Park Seo-jin said, "He looks very handsome, so even like that you can't see any sense of hardship," praising Takuya's looks.
Kim Ji-hye said, "When you're a rookie you don't have money, so don't your expenditures increase a lot?" expressing regret over Takuya's large expenditures. Eun Ji-won said, "Actually you spend more then. Because you want to look good to fans," strongly agreeing.
Takuya spent time alone with his mother who came to check on him. Although Takuya and the second younger brother share the same father, the third younger brother had a different father.
Takuya cautiously opened up, "I was the only one who didn't know much about my biological father. How old he is, where he lives." His mother said, "Your biological father died in a traffic accident. Didn't I tell you?" and added, "Actually that was a lie at the time." She had lied because she was worried her children were living apart from their father. Takuya asked, "What if I want to try to find my biological father?" and his mother did not strongly deny it.
Park Seo-jin spent Lunar New Year with his mother, father and younger sibling Park Hyo-jeong. Park Seo-jin's mother said, "My wish this year was for Park Hyo-jeong to lose weight," and Park Seo-jin's father said, "Our Hyo-jeong is chubby, please have her lose some weight," making Park Hyo-jeong's weight loss their new year's wish.
The family visited the grave of Park Seo-jin's mother's mother, in other words Park Seo-jin's maternal grandmother. The mother had much sorrow and remorse over the maternal grandmother who died in 2023. Park Seo-jin showed affection for his maternal grandmother, saying, "I learned the word 'imjong' only then. At that time we were building a house. Actually I had planned to care for my maternal grandmother then." Park Seo-jin's mother said, "If she were alive I really want to care for her. That is something that has been weighing on my heart," and could not stop crying.
Meanwhile, the reveal of Lee Yo-won's third son was teased. Lee Yo-won's third son had been hinted at by Lee Yo-won saying, "My son looks a little pretty like me," suggesting he was a handsome boy. Also beside Lee Yo-won, who was active as a basketball player, were actors Rhee Minjung and Lee Byung-hun and his wife. They sat next to Lee Yo-won exercising with their son Lee Jun-woo, making viewers curious about next week's episode.
