Father of two children, actor Jo Bokrae is postponing his belated wedding scheduled for today (21). He had planned to hold a formal wedding five years after forming the marital bond, but decided to postpone once more due to personal reasons.
A representative of Jo Bokrae's agency, BH Entertainment, told OSEN on the 21st, "The wedding that was scheduled for today could not proceed due to personal circumstances and the situations of both families. We decided to discuss it again," they said.
Originally Jo Bokrae was scheduled to hold the wedding at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul that day. Jo Bokrae married in 2021 but did not hold a wedding at the time because of the effects of COVID-19. Over the following five years, Jo Bokrae became a father of two children, one son and one daughter.
Jo Bokrae, who announced his late marriage and the birth, said during a promotional interview for the film "Information Source," "I'm not that famous a star. So I think I've lived my life my own way. I felt it would be presumptuous to announce it like that," he said.
He added, "If people ask, I'll tell them. That's not my style. If someone around me asks how I am, I'll tell them, but I don't think I went around saying, 'Hyung, I had a baby yesterday,' or 'Hyung, I got married yesterday,'" and he added, "Also, we got married during COVID-19."
In particular, Jo Bokrae expressed affection for his two children during this process. About his one son and one daughter, Jo Bokrae said, "They are growing well," and added, "I received name suggestions on 'Zzanbro,' and I checked every comment one by one. I sent them to senior Shin Dong-yeob, and he posted a poll on the 'Zzanbro' board. I read all the comments subscribers wrote. There were even assistant directors and assistant producers," he said.
He said, "My original dream was to have a good family and to be a good father. I'm working hard to achieve my dream and to become a good father. I'm also working hard to be a good husband."
Five years after marrying, he became a father of two children and had decided to hold the ceremony on Feb. 21 for his second child's first birthday, but Jo Bokrae once again postponed the wedding due to personal reasons.
Jo Bokrae debuted in 2010 through the play "My Love DMA."
