'Bogum Magiccal' Park Hae-jun and Choi Dae-hoon appeared as one-day part-timers for Park Bo Gum and faced a crisis because of promotional taiyaki.
On the 20th broadcast, the fourth episode of tvN variety show 'Bogum Magiccal' depicted the third day of operation, with 'Poksakz' Park Hae-jun and Choi Dae-hoon appearing as the first part-timers to provide backup support.
That day, Choi Dae-hoon, who showed interest in shampooing and drying, took charge of hair assistance, and Park Hae-jun, who boasted cooking skills saying, "I cut and can make most stews," took charge of taiyaki assistance. Park Bo Gum expressed satisfaction at Choi Dae-hoon's perfectly shampooing a customer as he had been taught, saying, "You do it so well. I can trust and just leave it to you." Kwak Dong- yeon also praised Park Hae-jun, who made taiyaki skillfully, saying, "You seem to have a talent, senior."
The two officially started working part-time. Choi Dae-hoon moved briskly, doing hair assistance and sweeping the floor with good sense. On the other hand, Park Hae-jun, who was enjoying leisure time, said, "There's a lot of work here. I thought we'd be playing," and, exceeding novice cook Lee Sang Yi, completed the lunch rice cake soup.
The barbershop was nonstop busy. Tired from the hard labor, Park Hae-jun and Choi Dae-hoon were already exhausted, and Kwak Dong- yeon gave them work, saying, "You need to skewer the fish cakes." While skewering fish cakes in the kitchen, Park Hae-jun joked, "This is a barbershop, but the main work is the kitchen," drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, Kwak Dong- yeon prepared a one-day taiyaki day to promote the barbershop. Through the village chief, he said, "Today, especially, we will serve taiyaki and fish cakes to all village residents, not just customers," and added, "Hungry people and people who are bored, everyone is welcome to come to the barbershop, have delicious taiyaki and hot fish cakes, and leave happy."
Hearing this, Park Bo Gum exclaimed, "How can he talk so well?" and the village chief admired, "He could be a village chief."
As soon as the village broadcast ended, residents, starting with child customers, flocked to the barbershop at once. While cutting hair, Park Bo Gum said, "Dong- yeon, they're coming in a flood," and Park Hae-jun, who was leisurely baking taiyaki, called out desperately to Kwak Dong- yeon, saying, "This is a big problem."
At the food stall, Park Hae-jun and Kwak Dong- yeon struggled to hand out taiyaki to the suddenly gathered customers. Then rain began to pour, and customers took shelter inside the barbershop. The inside and outside were filled with customers. Two child customers, seeing this, helped Park Hae-jun and Kwak Dong- yeon by taking taiyaki orders for elderly customers and delivering them.
At that time, customers who had finished their taiyaki at the barbershop requested nails and hair, creating a waiting list. In particular, the mothers chatting in the parlor discussed dyeing and cutting, made eye contact with Park Bo Gum, and requested hair styling, and a flustered Park Bo Gum hurriedly tried to take the customers.
However, it was not easy with only Park Bo Gum as the barber, and he said, "I think I tried to proceed as quickly as possible so they wouldn't have to wait longer," while watching the customers' reactions.
In the end, some customers left the barbershop promising to return. Park Bo Gum conveyed his apologies and thanks, saying, "I'm sorry I couldn't do your mother's hair. Thank you."
After all the customers left, the previously strong Park Bo Gum, who had shown iron stamina, lay down in the parlor, saying, "I'll lie down for a moment." A drained Park Bo Gum said, "I'm really tired today," and Kwak Dong- yeon was surprised at that sight.
