Actor Jo Bokrae again postponed the wedding that had been scheduled for today (21). Although they prepared a formal ceremony five years after becoming a married couple, they decided not to proceed considering personal reasons and circumstances on both sides.
A representative of Jo Bokrae's agency, BH Entertainment, told OSEN on the 21st, "The wedding scheduled for today could not proceed due to personal circumstances and the situations of both families," and "We will discuss again later and set a date."
Originally, Jo Bokrae planned to hold the wedding at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul, on that day. He had already registered the marriage in 2021, but at the time they could not hold a ceremony because of the effects of COVID-19. As time passed, Jo Bokrae became a father of a son and a daughter, and he had been preparing a belated wedding five years into the marriage.
In particular, the wedding was reportedly intended to have more meaning by coinciding with the second child's doljanchi on Feb. 21. However, as personal circumstances and situations on both sides overlapped, they chose to postpone once more rather than go ahead with the ceremony.
Earlier, Jo Bokrae candidly explained his tendency to announce the marriage and childbirth news late. During a promotional interview for the film "The Informant," he said, "I'm not such a famous star, and announcing it felt presumptuous," and "I will tell if asked, but I'm not the type to step forward and say it first." He added, "Marrying during the COVID-19 period was one of the reasons."
He did not hide his affection for his two children. Jo Bokrae said, "The children are growing well," and added, "I received name suggestions on the variety show "Zzanbro" and read each comment one by one. I even sent them to senior Shin Dong-yeob, and he even posted a poll on the bulletin board," which added a warm feeling. He went on to say, "My life goal was to have a good family and be a good father. Now I am working hard to become a good father and a good husband."
