Marriage rumors surrounding actor Zendaya and Tom Holland flared up again after Zendaya was spotted wearing a simple gold ring on her left ring finger instead of an engagement ring.
On the 20th (local time), U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six released recent photos showing Zendaya going out in Beverly Hills, California. In the photos, Zendaya drew attention by wearing an ordinary gold band that appears to be a wedding ring on her left ring finger rather than a diamond engagement ring.
That day Zendaya was accompanied by film producer Josh Liberman and appeared in a comfortable outfit pairing an ivory-tone jacket with a white top and loose black pants. She added a black crossbody bag and wore a short brunette hairstyle that slightly grazed her neckline.
So far, Zendaya and Tom Holland have not released an official statement regarding the ring.
Earlier, Zendaya made her engagement public by wearing a 5-carat diamond engagement ring on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. The ring, a work by jewelry designer Jessica McCormack, drew attention for its unique design that sets the cushion-cut center stone in an east–west orientation.
It was later confirmed that Tom Holland actually proposed to Zendaya. He reportedly proposed between Christmas and the end of 2024, right after they got matching couple tattoos. The two had discussed marriage for a long time, but Zendaya reportedly did not expect the proposal at all.
In particular, Tom Holland is reported to have sought permission first from Zendaya's parents, Kazembe Azam Coleman and Claire Stoemer, before the proposal. Later, Tom Holland's father, Dominic Holland, also revealed the engagement process on his blog in January 2025, saying "Tom had prepared the ring and formally received permission from her father."
Zendaya and Tom Holland met through the 2017 Spider-Man film series and officially acknowledged their relationship in 2021. However, they remain cautious about the timing of marriage.
