Group 4Minute alumnus Heo Ga-yoon mentioned her older brother who passed away.
On the 21st, tvN You Quiz on the Block released a preview video of Heo Ga-yoon's appearance.
That day Heo Ga-yoon met Yu Jae-seok and confessed what she experienced before leaving for Bali. She said, "One day my brother suddenly collapsed. At that time they found out his heart was in bad condition and decided to have surgery, and it was three days before the operation. My parents called and said my brother suddenly passed away," she said.
At the time, her brother had only been living independently for about a month. Searching his apartment to sort through his belongings, Heo Ga-yoon said, "Everything was brand new. Electronics too, ramen with the packaging unopened, cans of tuna. Would he have known it would turn out like this? He really wouldn't have known," she said, sounding numb.
She went on to reveal, "If there is another world, I want to tell him to do everything he wanted and live there," she said.
Earlier, Heo Ga-yoon saw her older brother off in December 2020. At the time, her brother suffered from a chronic illness, and his condition worsened, causing him to die at a young age, which aroused sadness.
In particular, Heo Ga-yoon also mentioned her brother during a Sebasi lecture. After her brother's death, Heo Ga-yoon said she felt emptiness first and foremost. She said, "Whenever I missed my brother the same thought kept repeating. So I made up my mind. Even if I die tomorrow, I will live without regrets. Not for success or fame, but for happiness. Since then I stopped putting things off," she said.
