HYBE produced five of the 20 best-selling albums worldwide last year, proving its strong influence in the global music market.
According to the 2025 'Global Album Sales Chart' released on the 21st by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), albums by five HYBE Music Group label artists — SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, &TEAM and BOYNEXTDOOR — entered the rankings. This chart compiles physical album sales such as CDs and vinyl (LP) and paid full album downloads and publishes up to the top 20.
PLEDIS Entertainment Co.'s SEVENTEEN reached No. 3 on the 'Global Album Sales Chart' with their fifth studio album HAPPY BURSTDAY, marking the major milestone of entering the top five for five consecutive years. Under the same IFPI aggregation criteria, the only K-pop artists to place albums in the top five for five consecutive years are BTS (2018–2022) and SEVENTEEN. Including streaming figures on the 'Global Album Chart,' HAPPY BURSTDAY ranked 12th.
Belift Lab Inc.'s ENHYPEN and BigHit Music's TOMORROW X TOGETHER both entered the 'Global Album Sales Chart' for the fourth consecutive year, following SEVENTEEN. ENHYPEN's mini-album 6, DESIRE : UNLEASH, reached No. 4 on the 'Global Album Sales Chart' and No. 16 on the 'Global Album Chart.' Their third double million seller, DESIRE : UNLEASH, was especially loved worldwide, including ranking fourth in CD sales in the United States, the home of pop, last year.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER's achievements are also notable. Their fourth studio album The Star Chapter: Together ranked No. 6 on the 'Global Album Sales Chart.' The album, which capped the 'The Star Chapter' series, was praised by major foreign media at the time of its release as "a creative peak," and it jumped to No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200, staying on the chart for four consecutive weeks and gaining great popularity.
YX Labels' &TEAM placed their Korean mini-album 1, Back to Life, released in October last year, at No. 13. This marks their first entry on the 'Global Album Sales Chart.' Back to Life entered the rankings with only about two months of sales after its release, proving &TEAM's steep growth. Having produced million-sellers in Korea and Japan last year, they will continue their challenge on the global stage by releasing their Japanese mini-album 3, We On Fire, on April 21.
KOZ Entertainment Co.'s BOYNEXTDOOR also entered the 'Global Album Sales Chart' for the first time since their debut. Their mini-album 4, No Genre, ranked No. 18. The album, which captures the six members' mindset of making the music they want without being bound by formats and conventions, achieved first-week sales of more than 1.16 million copies, setting a new team record.
The achievements of several artists stood out within HYBE's multi-label system, which respects complete independence and autonomy in the creative process. HYBE aims to use its multi-label system to ultimately create a foundation for the emergence and success of diverse K-pop creators, continuously provide good music and content, and carry K-pop forward as a sustainable industry.
