Comedian Park Na-rae completed her first suspect interrogation after about 7 hours and 30 minutes.
Park Na-rae appeared at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station on the 20th and was questioned on charges including special injury and violation of the Medical Service Act. It was her first interrogation as a person under accusation.
She had originally been scheduled to appear on the 12th, but the appearance was postponed once at the strong request of her legal team and due to health deterioration and other Iyoo. Accordingly, she appeared around 3 p.m., completed about 7 hours and 30 minutes of questioning, and left the police station at about 10:30 p.m. that night.
Park Na-rae left the police station wearing glasses and a long black coat, her hair neatly tied with hairpins. She greeted reporters at the scene, saying, "I responded sincerely to the investigators' questions and answered truthfully."
However, regarding alleged abusive behavior toward her former managers and various disputes, she only replied, "I think these are matters that will be revealed later through the investigation," "I participated sincerely in today's investigation," "I will correct parts that are not true," and "I apologize once again for causing concern due to my uncomfortable matters," while avoiding specific responses.
In particular, Park Na-rae remained silent about allegations that she registered her mother and an ex-boyfriend as staff of a one-person agency and paid them salaries, the reason for postponing her appearance, and illegal medical allegations. Nevertheless, as she left the police station she reportedly added to reporters at the scene, "Happy new year," and Nyssa.
Park Na-rae was accused by her former managers of workplace harassment, verbal abuse, special assault, failure to pay hosting fees, unpaid severance, and proxy prescriptions, and was sued at the Gangnam Police Station on charges including special injury, defamation by false statements, and violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation). In response, Park Na-rae also filed a counterclaim against her former managers at the Yongsan Police Station on charges including extortion and business-related embezzlement.
