TWS member Hanjin conveyed his feelings to fans with a song that expresses the pure and gradually sharpening emotion of love without retouching, like a Polaroid photo.
TWS (Shin Yu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Gyeongmin) uploaded the Hanjin installment of its 'TWS:TUDIO' cover content to the team's official YouTube channel on the 20th. 'TWS:TUDIO' means TWS's music studio, and it is content that lets you glimpse the members' versatile skills and new charms, encompassing dance and singing.
Hanjin sang ENHYPEN's popular song 'Polaroid Love,' sweetly conveying the boyish flutter of suddenly falling into the emotion of love. With his distinct gentle tone, he delicately infused the warm sensibility of the original, giving listeners a pleasant thrill.
The video also draws attention with visuals that feel like watching a 'music diary.' The screen is filled with everyday scenes where Hanjin's gaze lingered, such as fallen leaves and alley cats. His bright visuals holding a camera blend in to create a lyrical atmosphere. Over the image of Hanjin asleep late at night, cherished memories shared with TWS members flowed, leaving a calm afterglow.
Hanjin repeatedly pondered how to interpret lyrics about love in his own color. In the 'Get Ready TWS:TUDIO' video about preparing the cover song, he said, "Because it's a story about love, while practicing I kept thinking about 42 (the fandom name). I hope the emotions and love I put into this song are well delivered to the 42 people."
Meanwhile, TWS, which includes Hanjin, released the digital single 'The day we met again' on the 9th and carried out special activities for a week. This song is the Korean version of their Japanese debut song 'Nice to see you again' (Japanese title はじめまして/はじめまして), and it expresses the process of meeting 'you' and becoming 'us' with the transparent sensibility of winter.
'The day we met again' rose to the top of Melon 'Hot 100' and Bugs real-time charts immediately after its release, and ranked No. 2 on YouTube's 'music rising' and Instagram's 'audio rising' charts. Amid the heated reaction calling it a "winter refreshment spot," it was noted as a guaranteed hit that condenses TWS's strength of variously executing refreshing concepts.
TWS will continue active promotions by holding '2026 TWS 2ND FANMEETING '42:CLUB' IN SEOUL' at Ticketlink Live Arena (formerly Handball Gymnasium) in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, from Mar. 27 to 29 next month.
