Pregnant actress Nam Bo-ra safely passed her child's nuchal translucency test on Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.
On the Feb. 20 broadcast of KBS 2TV's variety show Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (abbreviated Fun-Staurant), Nam Bo-ra was shown undergoing an ultrasound with her mother after three months of pregnancy.
Nam Bo-ra, the mother of the high-risk expectant baby nicknamed Kongari. She was relieved to hear the phrase "there is no abnormality" about the test result she had worried about. During the ultrasound, she finally smiled at the comment "it appears normal and clear" during the nuchal translucency test used to determine the likelihood of Down syndrome.
Nam Bo-ra's mother, who saw her grandchild's ultrasound for the first time, couldn't take her eyes off it in amazement. Although she had given birth to 13 children, this was her first grandchild. Nam Bo-ra laughed, "When I first asked my mother to come with me to the obstetrician, she didn't seem interested. But when she actually went, it was different. She liked it very much."
In particular, Nam Bo-ra returned home to receive a presidential citation. She received a citation in recognition of various volunteer activities she had performed with her mother. Nam Bo-ra explained, "I couldn't attend the awards ceremony because I had another schedule," revealing the reason she received the citation at home. Nevertheless, the citation and a presidential watch were presented, creating a touching moment.
