Actors Shin Jeong-yu and Woo Ji-han reunite to work together again in the new BL drama "Always meet again" (written by Choi Ji-an·Chung Yoo-kyung, directed by Shin Dong-hoon). This project is drawing great expectations from production onward as a reunion work of the two actors who showed perfect acting chemistry in their previous BL drama.
"Always meet again" is a fantasy romance about 35-year-old painter Jang Hye-seong, who time slips 17 years into the past after visiting the art room during high school due to an unknown force. Worried that her past self will cause her first love, Lee Woo-jin, to be hurt, Hye-seong had left his side; the key point to watch in this work is whether she will make the same choices in the past she has returned to.
In the drama, Woo Ji-han plays 35-year-old writer "Jang Hye-seong," who returns 17 years to the past. He plays a character who appears 18 years old on the outside but is 35 on the inside, portraying the complex and subtle emotions he experiences when facing his first love Woo-jin again. Shin Jeong-yu plays the school's popular boy "Lee Woo-jin." One day, he feels a strange curiosity toward the transfer student Hye-seong who suddenly appears and will portray the fresh emotions of first love.
Production company Moving Pictures Company condensed its know-how from producing many BL works such as "The circumstances of unit 304 at Pungdeok Villa," "Something went wrong," and "Happy ending outside the fence" into this new work. In particular, in postproduction they collaborated with AI technology specialist Maccai to implement AI-based city background rendering and virtual billboard PPL, improving production efficiency. Flash Entertainment (FLASH ENT.) also expanded its business into drama production through this project and declared its leap to become a comprehensive entertainment company through a business model that combines content and commerce.
Meanwhile, the broadcast date for "Always meet again" has been confirmed as March 5. The drama will reach viewers in 120 countries worldwide, including domestic Heavenly, Japan's Fuji TV FOD, and iQIYI in the Americas.
