Multinational five-member girl group X:IN will release a new record that embodies boundless musical challenges.
On the 20th, X:IN (Isha, Niz, Nova, Hanna, Aria) will release their fourth mini album "Hyper," which condenses the most aggressive and flexible sound experiments possible at this point in time, and begin promotions.
X:IN used vocals as a single sound layer on this album to maximize performance-focused energy. In particular, through genre-diverse approaches and unconventional developments in each track, they demonstrate through bold musical experiments that break existing K-pop conventions that they are designing the team's direction themselves.
Title track "Dazzle Flash" is an experimental track that stands on the border between familiarity and strangeness by combining drift phonk with a house structure; its heavy low end and anti-drop structure maximize the song's tension and grab the listener's ear powerfully. It is also a song that maintains X:IN's distinctive intense energy while further expanding the team's musical spectrum.
Alongside this, the synth sounds and polished vocal layers blend in "No Clarity," the lyrical melody and members' warm tones harmonize in "Coming Home," and the intense hip-hop beat and powerful rapping make "Who Dat" impressive, showing a variety of genre approaches that will prove broad genre versatility and raising the overall completeness.
This album, which will become X:IN's new milestone as they prove their value through musical experimentation, is expected to deliver a fresh shock to global fans, and X:IN will solidify their position as artists with irreplaceable energy through these promotions.
Meanwhile, X:IN's fourth mini album "Hyper," returning with a distinctive concept and sound, will be released on various online music sites today (the 20th) at 6 p.m., and the offline album will be officially released on Feb. 27.
