Singer Yun Tae-hwa, who revealed the divorce through TV CHOSUN's "Miss Trot 4," shared feelings on the official fan café on the 20th.
Yun Tae-hwa said in a fan café post that "after sufficient deliberation, we amicably divorced," adding, "there was no major fight or anyone's fault; it was a decision made after thinking deeply about each person's direction and pace in life."
She added, "while supporting my mother and pursuing a singing career at the same time, I felt heavy-hearted that I might not be fulfilling my role as a wife," and "our ways of life were quite different, and I felt shortcomings and difficulties in many areas."
She also said, "it may have looked like an immature choice, and I am sorry," adding, "through this, I learned and reflected a lot, and I will steadfastly sing as someone more faithful and stronger in my life going forward."
Yun Tae-hwa confessed the divorce on "Miss Trot 4," which aired the day before, saying, "after 'Miss Trot 2' ended, I got married, lived for a year, and then came back." Yun ranked fifth in the TOP10 decider that day and advanced to the semifinals.
