Trot singer Eun Ga-eun and husband Park Hyun-ho have become parents.
On the 20th, their agency M.O.M Entertainment told OSEN, "Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho welcomed a daughter today. The mother and baby are both healthy."
Eun Ga-eun, born in 1987, and Park Hyun-ho, born in 1992, met through KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' and after dating for a year held their wedding last April. Six months later, on Oct. they announced the pregnancy.
Eun Ga-eun opened a post on her social media, "I didn't write a handwritten letter even when we got married, but I pick up the pen with trembling hands," beginning her message. She officially announced the pregnancy, saying, "One day, when we were married and happy amid so much love and blessing, an angel-like child came to us."
With many congratulations following the news six months into the marriage, Eun Ga-eun said after receiving this year's DJ award at the year-end entertainment awards, "I always imagined coming to the ceremony wearing a dress. I thought I would come with a slender body, but I came at the heaviest weight of my life. I think I received this award because the eight-month baby in my belly is a lucky charm," expressing her joy.
Meanwhile, Eun Ga-eun debuted as a ballad singer in 2013 and appeared on TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020, finishing seventh. She is currently active as a DJ on KBS2 radio Eun Ga-eun's Shining Trot.
Park Hyun-ho debuted in 2013 as a member of idol group Topdog but left in 2015 due to health reasons. He appeared on MBN's 'Burning Trotmen' in 2022 and finished in 10th place.
