'Problem Child in House' judge-turned-lawyer Lee Seong-ho expressed his love for his wife Yun Yoo-seon.
On the 19th airing of KBS2TV variety show 'Problem Child in House', following last week, the married couple Yun Yoo-seon and Lee Seong-ho, who made their first joint talk show appearance since their wedding, continued with quiz answering and talk.
Lee Seong-ho drew attention during his time as a judge for his ruling in the "Molar tooth dad" case. Previously known as Yun Yoo-seon's husband, he made his name known again as a judge who handed down a stern ruling for one of the worst crimes in history.
Lee Seong-ho introduced the case, saying, "Because it has been widely covered in the media, things could change if I briefed on it. Briefly, the defendant in the 'Molar tooth dad' case kidnapped and abducted, committing sexual assault and murder." He said, "The victim contacted after several years and went to that house to help a friend, and that is when that happened. The victim's mother wrote, 'I taught my daughter to help friends who are having a hard time, and I deeply regret that,' and that stuck with me."
Regarding the rare imposition of the death penalty, lawyer Lee Seong-ho said, "Korea has the death penalty, but it is not carried out. However, personally, if the death penalty remains in the law, I believe that for crimes where the death penalty would be warranted, it should be ruled. I made a strong ruling because judges may avoid the death penalty to keep their hands clean, but from the perspective of the general public this cannot be allowed, so I discussed it with the presiding judges and argued that it should be done courageously; it is the court's duty," expressing his conviction.
He said he is particularly strict about voice phishing crimes. Lee Seong-ho said, "Voice phishing is like that. As voice phishing became rampant, crimes like pickpocketing decreased. Isn't it a crime of extorting money while sitting down?" and "Voice phishing criminals use jewelers. If an account is not in their name, it gets blocked. They contact the jeweler and say, 'I'll deposit, so please prepare some gold.' Then the victim, unaware, deposits at the jeweler," explaining their cunning methods.
Meanwhile, lawyer Lee Seong-ho showed a charming side as he bickered with his wife Yun Yoo-seon. Lee Seong-ho said flatly, "I thought Yun Yoo-seon acted very well. I thought she had a fragile image in 1987's 'land'," to which Yun Yoo-seon snapped, "So you were a fan of mine since then?" Lee Seong-ho feigned indifference.
Lee Seong-ho also lamented the panelists with the comment, "My wife is an angel to other people." Ju Woo-jae muttered, "What a severe person. Just the way he talks," and Yang Se-chan said, "Just say you love her." Then Lee Seong-ho suddenly became serious and confessed, "We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and the moment passed. The person who has been by my side the most, the person who listened to me, was all my wife. I felt that the most precious person is my wife," drawing attention.
