The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season, scheduled to premiere on the 20th at 9:50 p.m. (planner Namgung Seong-woo, written by Jo Seong-hee, directed by Jeong Sang-hee and Kim Young-jae, produced by Pan Entertainment) depicts an unpredictable "In Your Radiant Season" romance in which the man "Chan," who lives every day like an exciting summer vacation, and the woman "Ran," who has confined herself to winter, meet by fate and awaken frozen time.
The Highlight video released on the 19th tightly captures the two people's narrative from the fateful encounter between Song Ha-ran (Lee Sung-kyoung) and Seon Woo-chan (Chae Jong Hyeop) who brushed past each other on the Imsu Bridge seven years ago to their present-day reunion, when they become entangled again through a collaboration project.
Seon Woo-chan, who was once given spring by Song Ha-ran, approaches Ha-ran, who lives locked in winter amid the pain of loss. Seon Woo-chan's straightforwardness slowly moves the relationship between the two, which had lingered between seasonal boundaries and excitement.
Song Ha-ran, who had remained behind a solid defensive wall, says, "Perhaps even sad memories can gradually be overwritten," and slowly opens the door to her heart to Seon Woo-chan. His suggestion to live joyfully as if on a spring picnic until the next spring returns hints at a change in their relationship. Lee Sung-kyoung and Chae Jong Hyeop raise viewers' heart rates by opening the curtain on the "Chan and Ran" couple with delicate emotional lines and chemistry that evokes excitement.
Another romance is added here. The reunion of Kim Na-na (Lee Mi-Sook), who hints that little time remains, and Park Man-jae (Kang Sukwoo), who faces her again after a long blank, delivers the deep resonance unique to a twilight romance.
