Karina shared her thoughts on filming Agents of Mystery season 2.
On the 19th, at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul, a production press conference was held for the Netflix variety show Agents of Mystery season 2.
Park Kyung-rim appeared as MC that day, and the event was attended by PDs Jeong Jong-yeon, Kim Seo-gu and Lee Won-gi, Lee Yongjin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon, Karina and Gabee.
Agents of Mystery season 2, a Netflix variety show that will be released worldwide on Feb. 27 (Fri), is an adventure mystery program that tracks and solves strange incidents that cannot be explained scientifically. It is a work by PD Jeong Jong-yeon, who received great love for distinctive genres such as the Netflix brain survival game The Devil's Plan, The Great Escape and High School Mystery Club, and which created a stir when it was released in 2024.
Lee Yongjin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon and Karina, as experienced members, have honed seasoned investigative instincts and are ready to perform, and newcomer investigator Gabee, with exceptional energy, will add vitality; amid this, Karina shared her thoughts on joining season 2.
Karina said, "I thought I showed a lot of raw sides in season 1 as well, but I'm worried because this season feels even more raw. From a viewer's perspective it might be fun to watch. These days the world needs dopamine, and I think our program can fill that dopamine well."
When asked what she prepared before filming, Karina joked, "I have actually been to several escape rooms. But the scale was much bigger than I thought. If there is a season 3 someday, I'm planning to try some more named escape rooms. Also, I normally don't watch horror movies at all. I get startled a lot. So I skipped many parts but tried to watch them."
When asked about particularly memorable episodes, she said, "The first was that I was stressed to the point of wondering if I had ever been this stressed. For the unemployed team, I'm a former cup scout. I felt a bit good to be on a boat after a long time. The last episode, at the pre-meeting they said the zombies were scary. But then they were zombies. It shouldn't be like this, but I was so annoyed at the production staff. So the most memorable was the last episode, 'The Other.' I fell while doing it, and at the same time I thought, 'What if you don't write me in?' but I was happy they did."
