'Brave Detective 4' reveals the full story behind a mysterious murder.
The 72nd episode of T-cast E Channel's 'Brave Detective 4' (directed by Lee Ji-sun), which airs on the 20th, features detectives Park Man-su and Park Hyun-shin appearing to reveal investigation logs they personally solved. Actor Kim Tae-hoon returns as a guest following the previous episode.
This episode begins when a homeowner living in a low-rise apartment, returning home, smelled a foul odor from the basement and went down, then reported finding a corpse in a unit with its door open.
The room was soaked in blood, and at the entrance a young woman lay collapsed facing the ceiling. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, maggots were swarming, and a knife presumed to be the weapon was placed on the abdomen, adding to the shock. However, nothing was missing, and there were no signs of forced entry. Forensic examination found traces of wiping on a dresser and the front door handle, and a 240mm-sized bloodstain footprint was additionally discovered, raising the possibility that the perpetrator was female.
The investigation team learned from a friend who last spoke with the victim that a gas meter reader had visited the victim's home during that call. They investigated all gas meter readers in the area, but none had visited the victim's home. At the development of the case, Ahn Jung-hwan said, "What do you mean by that?" in bewilderment, and Kim Tae-hoon also could not hide his surprise, asking, "Can something like this happen?"
Who the gas meter reader who was at the victim's home really was, and the full story of the murderer who committed the serial killings, can be found on 'Brave Detective 4'.
Meanwhile, 'Brave Detective 4' airs every Friday at 9:50 p.m., and is also available on major OTT platforms such as Netflix, TVING, and Wavve.
