SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has appeared for the fifth consecutive year on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) 'Global Artist Chart'.
On the 18th (local time), according to IFPI, SEVENTEEN landed at No. 14 on the 'Global Artist Chart (Global Artist Chart 2025)'. IFPI publishes an annual ranking up to the 'top 20' by aggregating worldwide physical album sales, digital song downloads and streaming figures.
SEVENTEEN first entered the chart at No. 9 in 2021 and has consistently remained in the rankings since then. The only K-pop artists to enter the IFPI 'Global Artist Chart' for five consecutive years are SEVENTEEN and BTS.
Last year SEVENTEEN released a total of four albums, including their fifth full-length album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', BSS's second single 'TELEPARTY', HoshiXWoozi's first single 'BEAM', and S.CoupsX.Mingyu's first mini album 'HYPE VIBES', demonstrating the true value of a 'Super IDOL'.
Among these, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' reached No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard main albums chart 'Billboard 200', and 'HYPE VIBES' set a new record for the highest-charting K-pop unit album on the same chart. Thanks to strong performances by the group and its units, SEVENTEEN even swept positions 1 through 13 on 'The 2025 Billboard K-pop Artist 100'.
SEVENTEEN's 'aggressive momentum' continues this year. First, the team's two main vocalists, DK and Seungkwan, released the mini 1st album 'Soyagok' last January, and its ballad title track 'Blue' reached the top of domestic and international music charts. Another unit, S.CoupsX.Mingyu, is continuing 'CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY' in five domestic and international cities.
The world tour also continues. SEVENTEEN will begin 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA' at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium on the 28th and the 1st of next month, and will perform in major Asian cities' large stadiums. On Apr. 4-5 they will hold an encore concert at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, capping off a seven-month world tour.
