Singer Yoo Eun-seong returned to the hospital after three years following a brain cancer diagnosis.
On the 18th, Yoo Eun-seong uploaded a photo to his social account with the caption "Seoul Samsung Hospital, visited again after three years. It'll be okay~~ ugh~~ I'm nervous for no reason~~ fighting~~!!"
The released photo showed Yoo Eun-seong waiting for tests at the hospital. Wearing what appears to be a hospital gown, he took a selfie with a very tense expression.
Yoo Eun-seong shocked the public when it was revealed that he was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2023. Fortunately, he was told he did not need immediate surgery and continued with follow-up observation, but it was revealed that two more tumors were found in 2024, prompting sorrow.
Meanwhile, last year Yoo Eun-seong also underwent shoulder surgery. He explained, "The bone in my right shoulder grew and cut into the tendon, causing it to be half severed, so I urgently had surgery to shave down the bone. If the tendon is severed, a reconstruction surgery is done, but near the right arm bone where screws would need to be placed for reconstruction there was a benign bone tumor, so reconstruction surgery might be difficult. The doctor recommended doing the bone surgery before the tendon completely tore, so I was admitted on Aug. 25, underwent surgery, spent eight nights and nine days in the hospital, and was discharged today."
About six months later, as Yoo Eun-seong returned to the hospital, those around him prayed for his health. Hong Ji-min cheered, "I'll pray. It'll be okay. Fighting!" and Shin Woo-sik encouraged, "I'll pray. Don't worry and get the test done well. Jeong-hwa is praying a lot. It's a thankful thing. Go, go, go."
Meanwhile, Yoo Eun-seong married actress Kim Jeong-hwa in 2013 and has two sons.
