TWICE member Tzuyu responded sharply to a rude comment from an online troll.
Recently, a message sent by Tzuyu on the fan communication platform Bubble spread across online communities.
The message is presumed to have been sent on the 16th, and one netizen made a somewhat rude remark, saying, "Tzuyu, can you lose the fat on your legs? The backup dancer is slimmer than you," which drew frowns.
But Tzuyu quoted the message and coolly replied, "^^ thanks." She then delivered a sharp retort, "Save your money and spend it," drawing admiration.
On Bubble, users must pay a monthly subscription fee to exchange messages with artists. It appears Tzuyu was calling out the troll for sending malicious messages despite paying for the service.
As the conversation spread, criticism of the troll who sent the rude message poured in, along with praise for Tzuyu's refreshing comment. Netizens responded with reactions such as "Why tell a skinny person to lose weight?", "That's refreshing," and "What's the psychology of paying to leave malicious comments?"
Meanwhile, TWICE, which includes Tzuyu, is currently meeting global fans while holding its sixth world tour concert "THIS IS FOR".
