'Agents of Mystery' season 2 mentioned actor Kim Do-hoon's 'fear' moment.
On the 19th at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul, a production presentation for the Netflix variety show 'Agents of Mystery' season 2 was held.
On the day, with Park Kyung-rim appearing as MC, the event was attended by PDs Jeong Jong-yeon, Kim Seo-gu, Lee Won-gi, Lee Yongjin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon, Karina and Gabee.
The Netflix variety show 'Agents of Mystery' season 2, which will be released worldwide on Feb. 27 (Fri), is an adventure mystery variety show that tracks and solves bizarre incidents that cannot be explained scientifically. It is a work by PD Jeong Jong-yeon, who has been widely loved for distinctive genres such as Netflix's brain survival game 'The Devil's Plan', 'The Great Escape' and 'High School Mystery Club', and who presented a work in 2024 that sparked a reaction.
Lee Yongjin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon and Karina, as experienced hires, have equipped themselves with seasoned investigative instincts and are ready to perform, and Gabee, a new investigator with extraordinary energy, adds vitality.
When asked about what he worked on before filming season 2 that day, Kim Do-hoon said, "While doing season 1, I thought I shouldn't recklessly get careless and mess things up. So I underwent harsh training to build courage. For example, taking a shower with the lights off, sleeping with scary radio on, and training to suddenly recall ghosts unexpectedly. If I hadn't done it, it would have been a real problem," he said, drawing laughter.
Kim Do-hoon went on to say about a memorable episode, "The second episode is the secret of the unemployed group. I really never want to film it again. I blamed the producers a lot. After filming I couldn't go home and went to my parents' house. It's true. The impact was really that strong. When I went home and reviewed what I had done, I realized they had made the episode so well. Even if it were written as a drama, it would be so entertaining; they wove the story so well," he said.
In addition, Hyeri testified, "While doing this season, I especially worry about Do-hoon. As an older sister, I was constantly checking on him because I wondered whether he would be okay going forward in life," and Lee Yongjin also said, "I worry about Do-hoon (really). You know those kinds of friends. When entering a house for no reason you shout, 'I know everything that's there, come out!' Do-hoon is that kind of friend," drawing laughter.
