Choa, formerly of Crayon Pop, has ended up staying in the hospital until giving birth.
On the 17th, Choa wrote on her social account, "I will likely remain hospitalized until delivery to prepare for any emergency."
Earlier, she reported being hospitalized after sudden contractions and bleeding about two weeks before her due date. The i-dle were healthy, but as a high-risk expectant mother, she had said, "Whether I can be discharged will be decided after monitoring the progress."
But the next day, saying "failed to be discharged today," she ultimately continued inpatient care until delivery under the medical team's judgment. Choa said, "If I'm in the hospital, the babies' condition can be checked continuously, so I'll think positively and endure as much as I can!!"
She added, "It's not a bad situation, but the gestational age is already advanced, so prescriptions like contraction injections are difficult and there are no particular measures they can take. Now it's just a matter of lying down and holding on as much as possible!! Heart, cute — can you do it? Let's go!" as she steeled herself.
She also expressed affection over her husband preparing for the birth alone without her: "It's a shame we're apart during the holiday, but Mr. Kkeobi is busily preparing at home to welcome HeartCute. He's busy, busy — father of the twins. He prepared about 90% together and came, so I feel relieved!!!"
Meanwhile, Choa married a businessman six years her senior in 2021. While preparing for pregnancy, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, underwent surgery to preserve fertility, and succeeded in a twin pregnancy through in vitro fertilization. Both twins are boys and are due to be born in March.
