Group SHINee member and solo artist Taemin will perform on Amazon Music's global performance series "In the Paint."
On the 18th, agency Big Planet Made Entertainment said, "Taemin will appear as the first K-pop artist on 'Amazon Music presents: In the Paint' (hereafter 'In the Paint'), which will be released on the 19th (local time)."
"In the Paint" is a global performance series presented by Amazon Music through the NBA postgame show that combines basketball and music to reinterpret artists' music on courtside stages. While global pop stars such as Clipse, Nas and YG have performed on the series, Taemin joined the series as the first K-pop artist, proving his global presence.
Taemin has been expanding his standing as a singular solo artist, earning the moniker "idol's idol" with his delicate expressiveness and overwhelming performance skills. Having recently concluded a sold-out solo show in Las Vegas and appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show and the Grammy Museum's "Global Spin Live," among others, his active global activities have raised anticipation for the stage Taemin will present on "In the Paint."
Meanwhile, Taemin is set to take the stage at the world's largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, in April, capping his global activities.
