'Red Pearl' released behind-the-scenes stills showing a warm and friendly set ahead of its premiere.
KBS2's new daily drama "Red Pearl," directed by Kim Seong-geun / written by Kim Seo-jeong / produced by DK E&M, Monster Union, set to premiere on the 23rd at 7:50 p.m., is a work that portrays a meticulous and intense chronicle of vengeance in which two women who returned under false identities uncover the sins and truth hidden in the Adel family.
The stills released today (the 18th) capture in full the passionate appearances of Park Jin Hee (as Kim Myung-hee/Kim Dan-hee), Nam Sang-ji (as Baek Jin-joo/Chloe), Choi Jae-seong (as Park Tae-ho), Kim Hee-jeong (as Oh Jeong-ran), Kim Kyung-bo (as Park Min-joon), Kang Da Bin (as Park Hyun-joon), and Cheon Hee-ju (as Choi Yu-na), drawing attention.
First, Park Jin Hee's professionalism is felt in her habit of never letting go of the script and meticulously checking her lines wherever and whenever. Park Jin Hee, along with Kim Hee-jeong, reportedly studied the script to enhance viewers' immersion and did not miss detailed elements, surprising the on-set staff.
Meanwhile, Nam Sang-ji and Kim Kyung-bo displayed perfect chemistry. The two showed outstanding concentration in every scene and, with nuanced expressiveness that completes the narrative with just a look, fully conveyed the deep emotional lines of Baek Jin-joo and Park Min-joon.
Choi Jae-seong was also captured always reading the script to naturally digest his lines, catching the eye. Expectations are rising for the villainous role of chairman Park Tae-ho that he will portray.
Among these, the most shining aspect is the warm and friendly atmosphere on set. Despite being a dense revenge drama, laughter never ceased on set. Kang Da Bin and Cheon Hee-ju boosted the drama's completeness with professional performances that emitted bubbly energy on set while not losing their characters' emotional lines.
