J-Hope of the group BTS donated 200 million won to Asan Medical Center.
On the 18th, Asan Medical Center said BTS member J-Hope donated 200 million won to a fund for the development of the children's hospital. This donation followed last year and was made to coincide with J-Hope's birthday on Feb. 18.
J-Hope said, "I believe children will one day move toward a hopeful future. I sincerely hope children can overcome their pain and dream bright dreams. I have continued donating because I want to give back to the 'ARMY (fan club name)' that always sends great support. I am grateful to be able to practice meaningful sharing on my birthday again this year, following last year."
Starting with a 100 million won donation to Asan Medical Center in 2022, J-Hope promised ongoing good deeds, donating 200 million won to the children's hospital in 2025. Through this year, he has donated a cumulative 500 million won to Asan Medical Center, practicing a distinctive philosophy of giving.
Asan Medical Center plans to use J-Hope's donation to improve treatment facilities and the medical environment for pediatric and adolescent patients, to provide home medical care for children with serious illnesses, and to operate psychological healing programs.
