Actor Park Jeongmin said he is overworked after being "cursed by Hwang Jung-min."
On the afternoon of the 17th, on KBS cool FM's Oh My Girl Hyojung's Volume Up, lead actor Park Jeongmin of the film Humint (directed by Ryu Seung-wan) appeared as a guest on the "Choi Hyojung's secret garden" corner and talked.
That day a listener mentioned what Hwang Jung-min had said "Don't rest, you jerk" and asked, "You seem to be working through a variety of schedules as if cursed; aren't you exhausted?", asking how he manages his condition.
Earlier, when Park Jeongmin was asked about Hwang Jung-min's reaction when he announced a pause in his acting activities, he said, "He said, 'Don't rest, you jerk.' Because he also had to rest, he said, 'If you rest, who will make the company money!,'" drawing attention.
But Park Jeongmin is currently busy in many areas, from running a publishing company to the release of the film Humint and the play Life of Pi. On this he emphasized, "It's hard. It's hard and I generally would not recommend it."
He said, "I don't really recommend overworking to this extent, but my job is to meet the audience anyway. At the moment of meeting them I get energy. Something inside bursts. But after it's over people call it brain fog. Thoughts don't come to me," venting his hardships.
Hyojung asked, "Do you recover your stamina by sleeping or by eating?", and Park Jeongmin replied, "I usually prefer sleep more. I aim to sleep eight hours as a basic, but that's not easy. I think I sleep six hours. Still, six hours is bearable."
Then a listener asked, "Meanwhile don't you stay up all night gaming and even do YouTube?", and Park Jeongmin explained, "I haven't been doing all-night gaming lately. I did it once back then," and clarified, "YouTube I do here and there anyway."
